Everything about what the extension does, what it cannot do, and how licences and refunds work.
Open the page with the table on it and click the Table Export icon in the Chrome toolbar. Every data table on the page is listed with its size and a short preview. Pick one, choose a format, then press Save. To copy instead of saving, choose Clipboard.
Hover an entry in the list and the matching table is outlined on the page, so you can tell
them apart. You can also press Pick on page and click the table directly. Esc
cancels.
Many pages use tables purely for layout — notice boxes, sidebars, navigation blocks. Those are kept out of the list, and the popup tells you how many were left out. If every table on a page looks like a layout table, nothing is filtered and you get the full list instead.
A cell spanning several columns or rows is repeated into each position it covers, so columns stay aligned. If you would rather have the extra positions empty, tick Leave merged cells blank.
Keep Add BOM for Excel ticked. It marks the file as UTF-8, which is what Excel needs in order to read those characters correctly.
Chrome blocks all extensions on some pages. chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web
Store itself, and the built-in PDF viewer are off limits to every extension, this one included.
The popup will say so when you are on one.
Virtual scrolling. Some large grids keep only the rows you can currently see inside the page and swap them as you scroll. Only those rows exist to be read, so only those can be exported. The popup warns you when it detects this — scroll through the table first, or export in sections.
Hidden rows are skipped. Rows that are not visible on screen are left out on purpose, and the popup reports how many. If it says nothing, nothing was skipped.
.xlsx files with real number and date cells rather than textEverything else stays free, with no row limit and no account.
Open the extension, click Settings at the top right, paste the key from your purchase confirmation email, and press Activate. Chrome will ask once for permission to contact the licence server; that request is made only at this moment and only for this purpose.
Five. If you run out — a new laptop, a reinstalled machine — open the order page linked in your purchase confirmation email and release a device you no longer use. You do not need to contact us for this.
Yes. The licence is re-checked about once a week, and if that check cannot happen, Pro keeps working for up to 30 days offline. Nothing locks up mid-flight.
Nothing is lost. Paste it again in Settings. Removing a key never touches the free features.
Purchases are sold and processed by Polar, which is the merchant of record. Your receipt, your invoice, your payment method and your refund are all handled on their side — including requests you make after buying.
To ask for a refund or find a receipt, use the order page linked in your purchase confirmation email, or contact Polar directly. That is the fastest route, and it does not depend on us being awake.
There is no server and no account. Your tables are converted inside your own browser and their contents are never sent anywhere. The extension does not request access to all your sites — it reads a page only in the tab where you clicked the icon. There is no analytics and no tracking. The full statement is on the privacy page.
